Evaluation of the Code of Conduct for Responsible Fisheries (FAO 2011/12) Evaluation of the work conducted by the UN Food and Agriculture Organization since 2004 with respect to the Code of Conduct for Responsible Fisheries, including assessment of policy development, field programme, contribution to and participation in international processes, with special attention to capacity development.
An assessment of the options available for dealing with the alien invasive carpet seasquirt, Didemnum vexillum (Scottish Government 2011). A stakeholder consultation and cost benefit analysis to inform the decision on the course of action to be taken in response to the recent arrival in Scottish waters of the invasive alien Didemnum vexillum. Undertaken in association with the Scottish Association for Marine Science.
The management of roadside verges for biodiversity (Scottish Natural Heritage 2011). An investigation of how roadside verges can contribute to Scotland's National Ecological Network, and how practical and cost effective road verge management can be geared to optimise biodiversity value of road verges as refuges and corridors for wildlife.
Mariculture opportunities in the Pacific (Secretariat of the Pacific Communities 2011). A review of opportunities for mariculture (marine farming) development in the Pacific Island States and Territories, including case studies in Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, the Cook Islands , Fiji and the Marshall Islands. The study included economic and market considerations as well as consideration of livelihood and food security issues. Undertaken in association with Nautilus Consultants.
